Privacy Training
At GW, we recognize the importance of privacy and protecting the personal data of our students, staff and faculty. We believe that all individuals who collect, use, store, or process personal information on behalf of the university, should have a good understanding of the governing privacy laws and regulations. Therefore, we offer various training sessions and workshops, as well as a series of online privacy courses, to help the GW Community learn more about privacy.
- Online Privacy Training courses
Online privacy regulations (Privacy Awareness, FERPA, HIPAA, GDPR etc.) training modules are available to the GW community. The online training courses are ideal for onboarding and annual training.

- Privacy Awareness Workshops
Privacy, data and records management training sessions and workshops are scheduled throughout the year. These sessions are available to GW faculty, staff and students and aim at helping the GW community become more fluent in privacy principles, regulations and policies, as well as best practices for managing and protecting university data and records.
