The Phishing Frenzy: Staying Safe in a Digital Ocean

Phishing is a type of online scam that uses false emails, forms, and websites to trick you into providing your personal information. This can include usernames, passwords, Social Security numbers, credit cards and other personal information. 

Join GW Information Security and the Privacy Office to learn the fundamentals of phishing attacks, how to identity phishing emails, and most importantly how to avoid the threat. This session will review actual example messages and share tips on avoiding account compromises or even worse impacts.
